Meet Dr Peter Sidhom, Dentist
“I was inspired to become a dentist by a desire to help people in a way unique to the profession, focusing on reducing or eliminating the fear many people feel about visiting the dentist.”
Dr Sidhom graduated from Sydney University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. For him, one of the most fulfilling aspects of being a dentist is seeing a patient’s reaction when they have a cosmetic procedure that changes their whole smile and improves their confidence.
Dental Education and Professional Development
Dr Sidhom actively pursues professional development by attending numerous courses covering various aspects of clinical dentistry. He has a preference for restorative dentistry, including implants, conservative restorative techniques, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, and orthodontics (particularly Invisalign® Clear Aligners).
As a member of the Australian Society of Endodontics (ASE), Dr Sidhom participates in their four annual educational meetings. In September 2024, he attended a four-day Endodontic Conference held in Glasgow, Scotland.
In His Spare Time
Outside the practice, Dr Sidhom likes to play tennis, go to the movies, and travel. He also enjoys doing DIY jobs around the house.
